Ulisse is a software company founded in 1984
Founded in 1984 by a group of experts in the telco sector. The company has experienced the digital revolution that characterized and transformed the sector as a protagonist: in this long journey, Ulisse has gained in-depth knowledge in the development of firmware for the devices as well as operating support systems and management interfaces.
Ulisse's core business has long been focused on OSS systems, especially for the remote control of telecommunication networks. The development of these applications has been based on different technologies which, due to their completeness, reliability and generality, have had multiple effects in other various application areas.
Starting from these skills and aiming to diversify its market, Ulysses has recently started to develop and propose projects and solutions related to the issues of smart cities, transport and mobility, health and aging of the population.
For this purpose, Ulisse set up the Innovation Business Unit in 2019, to provide consultancy services for SMEs in the digital transformation path towards industry 4.0, as required by the Directorial Decree dated 25 September 2019, which also indicates how to submit applications for the voucher request for innovation consultancy.
